Network provider O2, a subsidiary of Telefonica, has quietly slashed the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab to an all time low of £299.
O2's new price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab is almost half of the unlocked model that costs around £544.
However, the deal is available only to those who buy O2's 2GB Pay & Go Mobile Broadband package that offers unlimited access to thousands of WiFi hotspots across the UK for £15.32 a month.
Users will be able to utilize the benefits of O2's mobile virtual network phone operator GiffGaff, which brings a number of great deals such as its Goodybag that offers 250 UK minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited mobile internet for £10 a month.
Online retailer Amazon had listed the Samsung Galaxy Tab with a price tag of £799 when it first started selling the device around six months back.
The 12mm thick Galaxy tab comes equipped with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels, 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird system chip with a PowerVR SGX540 GPU, 512MB of RAM, 16GB microSD card extendable to 48GB, a rear-facing 3MP camera, a front-facing 1.3MP camera and a 4000mAh battery.
