Brits prefer Android-based smartphones to Apple’s iPhone, an online survey of two thousand people claims.
The survey carried out for digital banking provider Intelligent Environments found around 28 per cent of smartphone owners in the country with an Android, while 26 per cent were found using Apple’s iPhone.
RIM’s BlackBerry was found with only 14 per cent of the surveyed smartphone owners.
However, Apple iPhone owners were found to be the most addicted to their devices, with 18 per cent saying they would use their phones more than four hours a day.
Around 63 per cent of iPhone owners ranked social networking and 48 per cent ranked games in their top three apps.
As many as 18 per cent iPhone users admitted that their main bank account was always overdrawn, compared with 14 per cent for Android and 13 per cent for BlackBerry.
