McDonalds Corp. has been looking for 50,000 employees, who want to work with the food chain, all over the nation.

Around 450 employees are required at central Ohio for the 130 locations of the company. Each store will hire three to four part-time and full-time workers.

Jeff Kane, Marketing Manager of McD said that the business is growing very rapidly and they need extra workers for the growing business.

Kane revealed that the nationwide hiring event will be held on April19. The chain has conducted a nationwide hiring event for the first time.

The employees of different ranks such as cashier, etc. are needed in the company. The hiring event has been promoted in print magazines such as US Weekly and the company also advertising on socio-media channels.

Jane Fields, President of McDonalds USA lamented, "Our national hiring event is an opportunity to invite more people across the country to join our team, and learn that a Mc Job is one with career growth and endless possibilities".

Bill Lafayette, Vice President of economic analysis for the Columbus Chamber said that the hiring event is a good sign for the economy, as many of the added jobs are not highly paid.

He added that it is a good chance for unemployed people.
