PC giant Dell’s new Android-powered tablet, the Dell Streak 7, is available now in the UK for £299, including shipping & VAT.
The Dell Streak 7, which was officially introduced at the CES Show in Las Vegas in January, and hit the US store shelves in February, will join the 5-inch Streak tablet that has been available in the UK via O2 since June last year.
The new tablet comes equipped with a seven-inch screen, a 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, GPS and Bluetooth.
Other specs include 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Unlike Apple’s iPad, the Streak 7 comes with Adobe Flash 10.1, plus the manufacturer gas used Gorilla glass that makes the tablet a little bit harder to smash.
Measuring at merely 199.9mm by 119.8mm by 12.4mm, the Dell Streak 7 tablet is easy to handle and carry.
Currently, only the Wi-Fi version of the Streak 7 is available in the market. A Wi-Fi plus 3G version is expected soon.
The 10-inch version of the tablet, the Dell Streak 10, is expected hit store shelves in June this year.
