The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) has sponsored an international conference of Asbestos Awareness in Atlanta, Georgia. The organization is enthusiastic to provide every possible support and education to the patients suffering from Mesothelioma and their families.
Exposure to asbestos accounts for many diseases, including mesothelioma cancer, which is very challenging to diagnose. Consequently, the ADAO aims to serve victims of asbestos through commencing awareness and educational sessions for the natives and the medical communities. The sessions are drafted to highlight all the aspects related to the asbestos disease and for sure benefits in earlier detection, prevention and treatment of the disease.
Relying upon the statistical of the World Health Organization (WHO), in the year of 2004 approximately 10,000 people in the United States and around 107,000 people across the globe died because of asbestos-related diseases. The figure can be reduced to a significant level through the spread of needed information and alertness.
Meanwhile, the New York Public Radio Station has said that the Department of Education has failed to take any immediate action when some schools were observed with asbestos insulated lighting fixtures. The asbestos-related projects must be accomplished through provided guidelines, it suggested.
