White iPhone 4 spotted with alternative iOS features

A video clip featuring the much-rumored White iPhone 4 surfaced online on Tuesday, showing some new features of the Apple iPhone iOS.

Posted by the Vietnamese Website Tinhte, the video was showing the White iPhone 4 in action, complete with what appeared to be a new multitasking menu. While the existing multitasking model in iOS presents open apps on a tray along the bottom of the screen, the White iPhone 4 was featuring the thumbnail images of open apps arranged on a grid.

Radically different user interface for iOS’ multitasking & app folders prompted rumors that it could be the iOS 5. But, it is also possible that the never-seen-before designs would have been killed by Apple during the development of the iOS 4.

Blog 9to5Mac soon posted one more video from Tinhte bragging the specifics of the White iPhone 4. The purported prototype White iPhone 4 was showing with 64GB of flash storage.

The White iPhone 4 was originally introduced by CEO Steve Jobs in June last year. But, the release of the white version of the Apple’s flagship smartphone was delayed repeatedly due to some production issues. In is expected that both AT&T and Verizon Wireless will carry the potential White version of the iPhone.

The White iPhone 4 is widely expected to become available before the end of April.
