Vodafone network suffered failure on this Easter weekend, which prohibited the customers to exchange Easter greetings over the phone. Vodafone has apologised to its customers for such an incident.
The customers of Vodafone could not make calls or send text messages. This report has been confirmed by The Australian.
"From 14:30 AEST 24/04/2011 to 21:34 AEST 24/04/2011 Users may have experienced difficulties in sending SMS. We apologise to customers for the inconvenience", Vodafone said on its customer support website.
Angry and frustrated customers took the social networking platforms to express their anger and their rage continued even today.
There were many people who could not text even till yesterday 10:30 pm local time.
However, Vodafone claimed that they have restored their services fully and that every customer can use their cell phones for calls and texts.
Vodafone also apologised to the customers for the network failure which has caused many of its customer to left blank without a single call or text.
Vodafone also mentioned that it has fixed the trouble and the telecom services are running smoothly in the area.
Vodafone should make the telecom services smooth in the area as there are frequent glitches faced by the customers in this area.
