Invented by Couchbase Chief Technology Officer Damien Katz, Mobile Couchbase is power-driven by Apache CouchDB technology. It lets iPhone and iPad developers to create apps to make sure that users always have the most recent versions of their data.
It is the first NoSQL database that has been designed especially for native iOS application developers and the single one to offer transparent mobile-to-cloud data synchronization.

The product’s CouchSync features sync data bi-directionally between mobile devices and a blackened CouchDB database. Thus, users get access to the latest version, regardless of what clients users use to access data.
