Maggi Recalls Beef and Chicken Flavored Noodles

NestleNestle Philippines Inc. has recalled the maggi beef and chicken flavored noodles on Thursday due to possible salmonella contamination. The company has said that it just a precautionary call after the company’s routine check
-up. The recall is for all the production batches of the company.

The company has stopped the production of its products until the completion of investigation. Nestle said that it has not received any complaints from its consumers or any case of illness related to the use of product so there is no need to panic. The company said that the products are safe to eat if customers follow the cooking instructions.

The bacteria, salmonella can be transmitted from water, soil, animal feces, raw eggs, and raw meat. The infection due to these bacteria affects mainly a person's intestines. It can also cause high grade fever, abdominal pain and vomiting. The bacteria are potentially dangerous for elder people and children, especially those who have weaker immune system.
