Nobuhiro Takahashi, a graduate student at Kajimoto Laboratory of the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo, has invented an e-kissing machine that allows users to kiss someone over the Internet.
The prototype kissing machine, which resembles a child' large juice box with a plastic straw coming out of it, is reportedly capable of transmitting the feeling of a kiss.
A user can manipulate the straw with his tongue, and the movement is saved on the computer and transmitted to a maching device over the Internet.
It makes the straw in the second device move in the same way as in the first, creating the feeling of a kiss in the other person's mouth.
Speaking on his invention, Nobuhiro Takahashi said, "The elements of a kiss include the sense of taste, the manner of breathing, and the moistness of the tongue. If we can create all those I think it will be a really powerful device."
Adjustments to improve the device are on the way as Nobuhiro Takahashi is still working on the e-kissing machine.
