Activision's next Modern Warfare first-person shooter game is only a few weeks away, as per the Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM) UK.

The latest issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine is teasing a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reveal for its next issue that is slated June 8.

The full-page advert for the next issue of the magazine features a massive number ‘3,’ accompanied by the text “The Biggest game in world returns.”

June 8 falls on the second day of upcoming event E3 that will run from June 7 to June 9. Thus, we can expect some announcements regarding the potential Modern Warfare game in LA before the release of the release of the next issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine.

It is an open secret that Activision is working on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and it is just a matter of when the publisher chooses to announce the new title.

Call of Duty first-person shooter series have so far achieved high acclaim. Call of Duty: Black Ops had reportedly generated $360 million on its launch day alone.
