As per reports, a new electronic cigarette, or e-cigarette, in the name of “blu Smart Pack” has come out for the rescue of the targeted segment of smokers.
The first of its kind, e-smoke has the ability to connect wirelessly to social networking sites and moreover, it tracks another Pack within 50 feet to let the user know that there are other users in the same community.
There is a group of supporters which is of the view that the newly discovered concept will allow eradicating the addiction to smoke by promoting social networking, smoking cessation experts have expressed their doubt over the viability of the so-called “blu Smart Pack”.
Moreover, New England Journal of Medicine study (PDF) in 2008 has claimed that the smoker who wishes to quit addiction to drugs is more likely to get benefit from this as compared to those who want to do it by themselves.
Though it’s been almost two years that e-cigarettes failed to capture the interest of smokers, inclusion of social media angle to e-cigarettes may serve as another possibility to address the percolating concern of smoking.
