Monolith Productions’ downloadable multiplayer game Gotham City Impostors will be released on XBLA, PSN and Windows PC later this year.
A four on four multiplayer shooter set in the Batman Universe allows players to customize their characters with costumes, homebrewed gadgets and a range of weapons.
Announcing the game, Warner Brothers Interactive said, “Gamers will create their very own Bats and Jokerz characters using unprecedented customization options including insane costumes, homebrewed gadgets and a wide range of traditional and imagined weapons.”
In the game, players will be able to make an imposter that can join either Team Bats or Team Jokers. In spite of its conventional mechanics, Impostors obviously distinguishes itself in its setting.
Announcing the game, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment said that the game would turn Gotham City upside down and fans would enjoy the creative twist on multiplayer heroism and anti-heroism as they choose to play the classic contention between Batman and The Joker.
