Bus Driver in Critical Condition, Passengers SecuredA bus carrying a Canadian choir who were traveling from Stockholm's Arlanda airport was moving towards the town of Sundsvall and driver suddenly suffered a heart attack, but quick action by the head of Canadian choir saved the lives of 32 passengers and none of them were injured.

Swede Elroy Friesen took over the steering of bus immediately and stopped the bus right away, as it was about to go off the road. Friesen said that it was a god gift that he was able to save everybody’s life and no one was injured and even the bus did not crash into other vehicles.

The two-week tour of the shaken-up members of the University of Manitoba was cancelled after the unhealthy start. However, they will resume their tour as soon as possible and they will spend their next two days in Umea.

The Swedish magazine, Aftonbladet, reported that the bus was crashed into the railing of the left side of the road.

The Director of Choir, Dr. Elroy Friesen, lamented, "At first we thought maybe the driver had only taken his eyes off the road for a while. Then we saw how he fell down over the wheel”.

Meanwhile, it was also reported that immediately an ambulance was called and they took the driver to the hospital in critical condition.
