Researchers have found that children who belong to a family which consumes lot of alcohol are mostly attached to the same after they become independent. These researches said that family history matters a lot in finding whether a person will choose this poison or not.

The researchers have said that it’s the nature of the children belonging to positive alcoholism family to go for alcohol in their life. These have given clear ideas that they will consume alcohol in their life.

"Most researchers look at a narrow group of alcoholics, for example, sons and fathers", Anna HV Söderpalm Gordh, Assistant Professor at the University of Gothenburg and first author of the study was quoted as saying.

She said that she has studied many families which also have the same type responses from their next generation.

Family history tends to pass on to the next generation and there is no way of stopping it unless the next generation is given proper awareness about the ill effects of alcohol.

Alcohol has been categorized as carcinogen in the same category of tobacco and consuming alcohol is equally bad as smocking according to the recent studies. So people should stop the consumption of alcohol in order to control the cancer growths.
