After Amazon, Apple and Google are reportedly making sincere efforts to launch their own cloud music streaming services as cloud music streaming has several benefits.

Cloud allows the user to store his/her favorite music on the Internet somewhere and access the stored music from virtually anywhere and from any device.

However, companies can place device caps. Amazon also limited the number of devices that a user of its cloud music streaming service can use to connect to his music collection. It didn’t allow iPhone users to connect to its service.

Cloud music service is more cost-effective. It allows record labels to avoid high costs of mass production, packaging, and shipping physical CDs. For instance, the CD version of the latest Lady Gaga album costs $12.99 on Amazon, while the MP3 version of the same album costs only $6.99.

When you store your music in the cloud, it is safe. There is no need to worry that your favorite music could get lost in a fire, flood, or from a crash of hard drive. Cloud music providers Amazon have gigantic data centers with superfluous servers which sync data to multiple locations so that your data should always remain safe.
