Religious People Have Poor Sex Life: Study

Religious-PeopleA recent study carried out by a Psychologist, Dr. Darrel Ray, who is an independent researcher, has claimed that religious people have poor sex life. Dr. Ray is also the author of The God Virus: How God Infects Our Lives and Culture."

During the study, Dr. Ray found that the sex lives of religious people are influenced by guilt and that is the reason why it is poor as compared to the other people. He says that abandoning religion reduces guilt and improves sex life in most of the people.

Dr. Ray conducted an online survey that questioned 14,500 people. The respondents were mainly atheist and many formerly religious people who grew up in secular homes. These people had rejected religion before the study. The results of the study revealed that almost 50% people who have rejected region have claimed that there was an improvement in their sex-lives.

The study was inspired by the personal experiences of Dr. Ray who abandoned his fundamentalist Christian background and found an improvement in his own sex life. He carried out the study to figure out if there were others with similar experience.
