Catholic Church to Deny Use of Condoms by Married CouplesAs per reporter, Ray Suarez, the Catholic Church of the Rome was organizing a meeting on the issue of fighting HIV/AIDS by promoting use of condoms among people. On the other hand, the Church has been dealing with the controversy of the use of condoms by married couples.

The reporter had asked about the church’s decision on use of condoms, to this, the authorities replied that the meeting was being conducted on behalf of Centrality of Care and the meeting was about a reunion and expression of views over HIV/AIDS by the members of Catholic Health care from various parts of the world.

The issue highlighted by the Church doers was inspite the use of condoms, there was no fair fall in the spread of infection, and that promoting condom was useless. Also, there was an immoral aspect attached to use of condoms among married couples, as it was an obstacle in way of couples to perform the act of giving birth to child and taking up the responsibilities.

As per moral theologian, Father Juan Perez-Soba, condoms are successful in preventing HIV/AIDS among people, but it could not give assurance of not being infected throughout the sexual life of a married couple. Anything that comes in between the conjugal act between a married couple will always be discarded by the church authorities.
