Sony finally brought its PlayStation Store back to online, bringing huge array of new downloadable games, demos, themes, avatars, add-on content and videos.
Director Grace Chen, of Sony's PlayStation Store, announced, "The PlayStation Store is back online and thank you everyone for your patience.”
Mr. Chen added that the company had updated PlayStation Plus with new full game trials, free games, DLC & avatars and even more discounts.
The long list of downloadable content available at the PlayStation Store includes Sucker Punch’s infamous 2, a sequel that features superhero Cole MacGrath who has electric superpowers.
However, Sony gamers are currently not getting the Welcome Back package that was promised by the company previous month alongside ID-theft insurance.
The package will provide PSN users with free PlayStation Plus membership for one month. In addition, the package will offer extensions of subscriptions for PlayStation Plus and Qriocity customers to compensate them for the trouble they suffered due to the sophisticated hacking attack that had forced the company to shutdown the online services for more than a month.
