Square Enix has rolled out a new and completely computer-generated debut trailer for the Tomb Raider game, which shows young and brilliant Lara Croft in an adventure like no other.

Archeologist Lara Croft’s ship encounters a raging storm and wrecked near Japan. She found herself with several wounds ashore on a desolate island.

The Tomb Raider game is not a combat or action game as it makes the player to find ways and solve puzzles to survive. Determined to survive, Lara uses her ingenuity to survive and escape.

It appears that the video game will pursue a free-roaming style to allow players to explore the desolated island at will.

Tomb Raider will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC sometime in 2012.

More details are expected to surface at fast-approaching Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event that will take place from June 7 to June 9 in Los Angeles.
