Apple’s iOS 5 to include ‘Automatic Download’ feature: report

 reportThe next version of Apple iOS, iOS 5, will reportedly include ‘Automatic Download’ feature that will allow users to automatically download app updates over the air.

MacRumors on Friday claimed that that one of its readers stumbled upon a message from Apple iTunes that stated Automatic Download feature would allow for wireless syncing.

According to the report, My App Updates screen within iTunes stated, "Or if your device has Automatic Download enabled for apps, your updates will download to your device without having to sync.”

Currently, anyone who wants to update an app on his/her iOS-based device has either to download the update onto his/her computer and sync the device, or manually download the app update using via the Apple App Store.

The Apple rolled back the concerned page after some time.

The leak emerged ahead of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference that is all set to start on June 6 in San Francisco. Apple has plans to unveil its iOS 5, OS X Lion, and iCloud.
