The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which is all set to open its doors at Convention Center in Los Angeles, will provide visitors with a glimpse of new and upcoming products.
Nintendo, the world's leading manufacturer of handheld video-game players, has already announced that it would use the 2011 E3 event to demonstrate its latest video game console and successor to the Wii.
Emerging reports suggest that Nintendo's new system will utilize 3D technology and touchscreen controllers and will be much more powerful than the existing Microsoft's Xbox or Sony's PlayStation systems.
Entertainment Software Association, the industry body that organizes the E3 every year, said, "Those other shows do not have the exhibitor support that E3 does. If you ask the exhibitors, they'll tell you we're the most professional and the easiest to work with..."
The expo will focus on software. Hotly-anticipated games, such as Batman: Arkham City, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Sci-fi action game Mass Effect 3, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, are expected to be unveiled at the expo.
