The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that excessive use of cell phones could trigger brain cancer. The revelation by WHO has put billion's of users under the cloud of threat. The revelation was made by WHO after a study led by Dr. Jonathan Samet of the University of Southern California linked radio frequency fields on phones and their base stations to brain cancer.
The research was based on an increased risk for glioma which is a malignant brain cancer associated with wireless phone use. While concluding the study Dr. Jonathan Samet said, "The conclusion means there could be some risk, and therefore we need to keep a close watch for a link between cell phones and cancer risk".
Brain cancer and cell phone has been linked by many studies however they didn't show any evidence and therefore were ruled out. But the recent study is aplomb as it has given evidence of radiation being liked to brain cancer.
The findings of the study suggest that exceeded use of cell phone doesn't only trigger cancer but can also damage eardrum. Therefore, people should limit the use of cell phones and if possible should shift to text messaging.
