Nintendo’s next-generation game console, Wii U, which was recently announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, boasts of its numerous striking features that allow it to stand apart from rivals.
The 6.2-inch touchscreen can be used to interact with a game on the television, while the device can also be connected online that makes the platform more social.
The device’s controller will allow players to monitor their progress, while the built-in controller screen will allow players event to play matches against other users without the use of television.
The controller’s microphone can be used to chat with one another during the play. The controller can also be used to activate view finders such as night vision.
France-based games publisher Ubisoft during its E3 press conference described three titles for the Wii U. The first title, Ghost Recon Online, is an online game that will take advantage of the device’s constant online presence. Other titles are Killer Freaks from Outer Space and Assassins Creed.
However, the official launch of the Wii U will not come until 2012.
