WHO Reveals Another Side of Cellphone Usage

It seems that the medical fraternity is divided on the report produced by the World Health Organization, asserting link between use of cell phones and risk of cancer. While medical community seems to be in favor of the WHO for marching to pull the string, clan of telecom companies is putting their best defense against the suppressed outrage.

Even though medical experts, from the very beginning, have been recommending limited usage of mobile phones, this is probably the first time that the percolating issue has received the warranted attention from the international community.

Cell phones emit radio frequency signals, which if enters human body beyond a safety limit, can prove to be detrimental for the health, though the emition rate of radiations differs from one cell to another, as every company has its own manufacturing process.

Moreover, call phone manufactures are being told to publish the specific absorption rates (SARs) of their phones to ascertain the amount of energy absorbed into tissue when phone is held against the body.

Apparently, medical experts have suggested users to keep their cell phones to a safe distance from the body and further, to limit the use of phones so that the cumulative effect of the radiation can be averted to a great extent.
