It has been revealed according to a recent research, that eating low fat diet could be a very good way of keeping off Alzheimer’s disease. There can be drop seen within weeks if a person tends to eat healthy and low fat diet. Healthy diet is actually the key to a healthy lifestyle.
The risk of almost all diseases can be cut to half if a person takes a healthy and responsible stand towards their life. A healthy diet plan that includes enough carbohydrates as well as proteins to sustain the body throughout the day is very essential for the sustenance of the same.
The authors of the research are of the explanation that "For healthy adults, the high [fat] diet moved CSF biomarkers in a direction that may characterize a pre-symptomatic stage of Alzheimer’s disease”.
Alzheimer’s is a disease that occurs when the nerves of the brains tend to weaken; the symptoms of the disease may range from simple forgetfulness, to grave consequences in the later stages. There is a need to take extremely good care of the body in order to keep it functioning well.
"However, trials will need to be expanded substantially, both in terms of participants and time, before we can fully understand how our diets might affect our Alzheimer's risk”, Dr Simon Ridley, head of research at Alzheimer's Research UK, said.
