Trada announces partnership with Microsoft and Yahoo

Trada announces partnership with Microsoft and YahooTrada, a Google Venture-backed paid-search marketplace that connects companies with experts, on Thursday announced partnership with Microsoft and Yahoo to become an accredited reseller of Bing and Yahoo! Search paid advertising.

Trada will support small & medium-sized businesses spending in the range of $3,000 to $50,000 per month on pay-per-click advertising, which aims at increasing the reach of advertising via Bing and Yahoo! Search.

The partnership will allow Microsoft’s Bing and Yahoo search engines to support a higher volume of small & medium-sized businesses. Advertisers running campaigns via the search alliance frequently receive conversion rates of between 7 per cent and 8 per cent, which according to Trada’s founder Niel Robertson is higher than the average.

According to Robertson, around 35 per cent of search marketing spend from clients is going into the search alliance.

Speaking on the topic, he added, “Because we have the insight to see where small- and medium-size companies should spend their budgets, it turns out well for advertisers and the Yahoo and Microsoft alliance."

As per figures released by data firm comScore, Bing's and Yahoo's combined search share total 30 per cent in May 2011, up from 27.5 per cent in May last year.
