Flu season may have now ended for Northern Hemisphere but it’s all set to hit Southern Hemisphere casting its severe effects on the population. World Health Organization (WHO) has by now reportedly warned Southern Hemisphere to get struck by 2009 H1N1 virus, which is allied with an increase in severe infections.
South Africa is now under the raging casts of swine flu with already many cases of swine flu having been found. The instructions have now been given by Hawke's Bay health officials to avoid the replication of last year’s swine flu that killed one Bay man. Even the schools had advised parents last year to keep their sick children at home to avoid spreading the virus.
Besides South Africa, various other hot spot global locations have been battling swine flu. Australia’s Health Minister in its recent surveillance report mentioned that though there were low overall flu levels, South Australia recently reported an increase in flu activity with its Queensland state having recorded the highest number of swine flu infections. Even some South American countries are seen trapped in the ambit of flu.
