The BBC’s most popular motoring show, Top Gear, has returned for its 17th series. In Episode 1, Richard Hammond travels to South Africa to test drive a military Marauder around Johannesburg before blowing it up a little and then driving it a little more.
It was a South African made car that puts Hummer to shame. Made at a cost of 300,000 pounds, the South African car put Hummer to shame. It is capable of crashing through walls, running over cars and having a bomb blown under it. Hummer could bear all that.
Richard Hammond also pulls a classic monster truck stunt and drives over cars through a brick wall, and tries to get a hamburger in his shatterproof fighting vehicle.
Jeremy Clarkson, the 51-year-old outspoken presenter, also joined his usual partners in Richard Hammond and James May. Jeremy Clarkson can divide opinion like no other TV star.
Clarkson summarizes a review to the best car driven by him since the original VW GTI. It was actually the new BMW 1M, which he drove against a Lotus and a Porsche.
