As was confirmed by the company today, Lebara Mobile has appointed Warren Hardy as the Managing Director of its Australian business.
An ex-MD of Optus Consumer Division, Mr. Hardy will be brining over 16 years of experience in the Australian telecom sector to Lebara. Before his tenure with Optus, Mr. Hardy was serving under many senior management roles for giant corporations across both Europe and North America.
"Our Australian business has grown significantly since launch in March 2009. We anticipate continued significant growth under the strong, experienced leadership of Warren Hardy. Warren will broaden the reach of our product in the market, and continue to drive service excellence for our customers throughout 2010 and beyond", said Lebara Mobile CEO Yoganathan Ratheesan.
Mr. Hardy will be working out of Lebara Mobile's North Sydney head office and he will be taking charge of his responsibilities immediately.
"I am delighted to be joining Lebara Mobile at this exciting time in the Australian telecommunications market. I look forward to building on Lebara Mobile's early success in Australia", the newly appointed Chief said.
