BMW unveils Olympic Games editionsAcclaimed German automaker BMW has unveils special edition versions of its BMW 1 and 3-series models to celebrate its sponsorship of London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The new Performance Edition versions of its BMW 1 and 3-series models have been made available in a choice of four colours, viz. Alpine White, Bluewater, Titanium Silver and Black Sapphire.

Both models feature an M bodykit, 18-inch alloys, sports seats, chrome exhaust pipes, high-gloss Shadowline trim, leather-trimmed steering wheel, dark rear lights and London 2012 badges.

In addition, the 1 Series gets M Sport suspension, which provides the vehicle with an extra sporty edge over most of others in the range.

Available on the 116i, 116d and 118d three and five-door models, the entry-level Performance Edition packs have been priced at £19,530, which represents of a £1500 premium over the entry-level ES model.

The BMW 3-series Performance Edition is available with a staring price tag of £23,195, which represents a premium of £500 over the ES saloon.
