Experts Debunk the Myth of "Safe Cocaine"

CocaineExperts from UK have stressed that the there is no such thing as "safe cocaine", and the image of the drug as a "safe party drug" is one of the biggest myths that have been circulating around in the recent times and must be dispelled.

A study has recently revealed that cocaine and its use are strongly lined to 3% of sudden deaths.

According to the British Heart Foundation, the findings are just a reminder of the well known fact that the drug's usage can have devastating and uncalled-for effects on users. Serious and deadly consequences of cocaine use can happen to anyone taking the drug.

"The reality is that there are risks every time you use it. Cocaine can have devastating effects on the user including heart attacks, life-threatening heart rhythms, strokes and even sudden death", said Fotini Rozakeas of the British Heart Foundation/

Despite the fact that the data of the study has come from South-West Spain, experts are of the opinion that its findings can be applied to the whole of Europe in general.

Details of the study of effects of cocaine use have been published in the European Heart Journal.
