Telecom services provider Telstra has announced that it will be offering its customers more value for their money under its new plans, and is all set to offer wireless broadband plans which will allow users more data usage at lower prices.
The new plans, which will be effective starting 18 January 2010, will double the monthly data allowance on the company entry level plan, taking it up-to 400MB, at no additional costs.
New 3GB and 6GB plans have been announced for customers who need moderate to heavy data usage, and wireless broadband customers who choose to subscribe to a 24-month plan will be receiving a rebate of up-to $299 for their new USB device, or$200 if they pick a wireless gateway.
"These new broadband plans represent exceptional value, giving Australian broadband users more data and no additional usage charges together with Telstra's unmatched combination of coverage, speed and unmetered content", said Acting Group Managing Director, Telstra Consumer Glenice Maclellan.
Customers who are using Telstra's mobile services will also be able to save $10 a month if they fuse it on one bill with their 24-month wireless internet plan. All customers who use multiple Telstra offerings will be offered an addition $10 off every month.
