Toyota Yaris Verso tops Which?’s satisfaction survey

Drivers of the Toyota Yaris Verso are most satisfied with their car, a survey of more than 50,000 people revealed.

According to the Car Survey 2011 by “Which?”, Verso owners give their mini-MPV a score of 97.7 per cent for satisfaction & likelihood to recommend. Despite its odd styling, one of the respondent described Verso as versatile, inexpensive, reliable and easy to drive car.

The second spot in the list was grabbed by the Volkswagen Passat CC, which got 96.4 per cent from its owners for its looks, comfort and practicality.

The British Land Rover Discovery 4 got the third place with a score of 95.7 per cent, which shows that the vehicle is very popular with its drivers despite its pitiable reliability.

Four Skoda models, viz. the Yeti, Superb Estate and two generations of Superb Hatch, made to the top ten. The Skoda Yeti and the Skoda Superb Estate grabbed the 4th and 6th spots respectively, while two generations of Superb Hatch ranked 9th and 10th in the list.

Speaking on the results of the survey, Robert Hazelwood from Skoda UK said, "We're very proud of the excellent engineering, industry-leading customer service and great value in every one of our cars, and pleased we're giving people what they really want from the car ownership experience.”

More than 63,000 new and old cars were rated in the Which? Car Survey. Owners rated their cars out of five, covering questions like how satisfied they were with their cars, and how likely they were to recommend them to their friends.
