Announced during the San Diego Comic-Con, Microsoft’s Star Wars-themed Xbox 360 Kinect console comes in blue & white to resemble R2D2, while the wireless controller's gold & silver reflects C-3PO's color scheme.
Unveiled by Microsoft and LucasArts, the limited edition the new Xbox 360 Kinect console has a 320GB hard drive system. The console comes bundled with the upcoming Force-tastic Kinect Star Wars title.
Set to be released this holiday season, the Xbox 360 bundle is available to be pre-ordered at select retailers for $450.
Meanwhile, Microsoft announced record revenues for the fourth quarter, driven by strong sales of Office software suite.
The company also reported 30 per cent growth in its entertainment and devices division, thanks to strong sales of its Xbox 360 console, Kinect motion controller and Xbox Live subscriptions.
Total revenues jumped 8 per cent to settle at $17.37 billion during the June quarter, ahead of analyst average forecast of $17.25 billion. Profits jumped to $5.87 billion.
