Audi has introduced its latest offering, the A5 Sportback to the Australian markets, the functional, five-door coupe which has been equipped with the automaker's benchmark design and quality.
The new segment seems to have borrowed its design from the already popular A5 range, has taken the five-doors and load-carrying space of Avant and offers storage and passenger space offered by a sedan.
"It seems that once again Audi has managed to successfully combine conflicting traits – blending emotional design with a car that is functional in terms of space, even offering a very large rear tailgate for ease of access. It looks beautiful. It drives very well. It is a great car for a family, for everyday use and I believe it will sell very well Downunder", said Audi’s Managing Director, Joerg Hofmann.
The new range has been fitted with efficient TDI and FSI engines.
While the 2.0 TFSI comes with a price tag of $78,400, the 3.0 TDI model of the A5 Sportback has been priced at $89,100.
