Obese Women More Likely To Be Ditched

Obese-WomeA recent survey has found that men as compared to women are more concerned over the outlook of their partner. The study carries weight upon its finding as it is based upon questioning a huge chunk of masses.

For the survey, half of the questioned men, which were more than 70,000, said that they would ditch their partner if their female gained weight or turn obese. During the poll, a contradiction was felt as only 20% of women said that they might ditch their partners on the basis of weight.

Although the survey reveals that there is high potential risk of men ditching women, the Editor-in-Chief of AskMen, James Bassil said that time has changed and people tend to forgive their partners. He said, “Even as men are getting more comfortable with meeting their girlfriends online and less anxious about who she's 'friending' there, other romantic behaviors have proven to be timeless ones: chivalry isn't dead, size matters, and women forgive while men forget”.

During the survey, a number of questions were asked from the participants which included the desire of changing the appearance of their partners. It was reported that only 18% of women said that they would like to change their partner’s appearance however, 51% of women said that they would like to change their own appearance.
