Brits can now make unlimited international calls unlimited calls to more than 75 countries for just £30 a month, thanks to newly launched MVNO Alpha Mobile.
London-based fixed-line firm Alpha Telecom’s new phone network, which has been launched in partnership with Vodafone’s mobile virtual network aggregator Cognatel, will allow users to make call o select mobile and fixed-line international as well as British numbers.
The firm is talks with four distributors in Britain to make prepaid SIM cards available at more than 90,000 retail locations across the country by the end of current year.
Announcing the new service, Mirza also claimed that their firm would be the only MVNO in the country to offer unlimited calls to British as well as international landlines and mobiles on a pre-paid service.
Speaking on the topic, Mirza said, “We wanted to come up with a proposition that was unique compared to what’s in the market space at the moment.”
New MVNO Alpha Mobile aims to capture 30 per cent to 40 per cent of Alpha’s fixed line base within one year of its launch.
Alpha Mobile, which came into existence in 1996, claims to have more than 600,000 customers.
