The 2012 Range Rover Evoque has achieved the title of Car of the Year in the Auto Express New Car Awards, and has been named as the Best Compact SUV by the motoring magazine.

Priced between $43,995 and $44,995, the 2012 Range Rover Evoque will go on sale in October this year, and will compete against the likes of Audi Q3 and BMW X1.

With its pioneering style and design, the new model is in the front line of a new downsized luxury segment.

The center console’s dual-view screen makes use of the Parallax Barrier Technology, allowing the driver and passenger to view different images on the same screen. Thus, while the driver sees the navigation information of the screen, the passenger can watch TV or a DVD.

The new Range Rover Evoque comes with a choice five-door and coupe forms. Interested people can choose from options of three engines, two body styles, three design themes and a wide range of options in respect to accessories.
