According to a recent report, there have been positive developments seen in the cure for spinal diseases that seem to be plaguing the society. The research has been conducted by the Auckland University and it has been revealed that they are now looking for better ways to understand spine injuries so that the cure for the same can be found soon.
Meg Spiers from Trust Communications is of the view that this new development is going to mark the beginning of an appropriate treatment for the disease. She has revealed that the new research is being funded by the institute itself and there are going to be the best efforts made for the development of a new type of treatment or the same.
"The infrastructure is already in place within the Auckland University at the Centre for Brain Research so our funding is going 100 percent towards the actual research and progressing spinal cord research”, she told Newstalk ZB.
Ms. Spiers is of the view that the main aim of the trust is to be able to find the right sort of cure for the injuries and make the lives of the sufferers better.
