Breastfeeding Ignorance Increases Breast Cancer Risks

Breastfeeding Ignorance Increases Breast Cancer RisksGiving a piece of advice to all the women who intentionally ignored to breastfeed their child, a new study conducted by US researchers cautioned that all the African and American women who do not breastfeed their babies certainly increased their risk of getting a destructive form of breast cancer. The journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, made the study findings public.

However, while explaining the reasons behind the growth, the researchers asserted that due to the presence of an independent hormone estrogen or progesterone, the cancer chances got amplified. While as compared to white American women, these women, too, had elevated rate of childbearing problems.

Moreover, these claims were made after the study affirmed that probably there was an association between those two facts, which stated that bearing a baby to term, certainly lifted the dangers, linked to this type of cancer, known as estrogen or progesterone receptor of the pessimistic breast cancer.

On the other hand, talking about the study findings, Palmer, Epidemiology Professor and one of the study authors, commented, "Women with two or more kids had 1.5 times the risk of getting ER-negative breast cancer compared with women who had no kids and we found that increased risk was really only there for women who had not breastfed".
