Child Diagnosed With Rare Hair Brush SyndromeRecently six years old girl, Megan, of Scotland has been diagnosed with a rare syndrome called Hair Brush Syndrome. A victim of such syndrome finds it difficult to comb as static thus created could make their brain pause for a moment.

It has been informed that Megan was born prematurely. When she was born she weighed 2lb 5oz and could fit in the palm of a man’s hand. As she was a prematurely born she had a number of diseases. It has been reported that she had a diaphragmatic hernia or a hole in her diaphragm, which meant that her stomach moved right up through and into her chest, only allowing space for one lung to grow.

It is believed that her diaphragmatic hernia might have caused Hair Brush Syndrome in her. Her syndrome was first discovered by her mother when she was combing her hair. Her mother has informed that while combing her hair, Megan fell down on the floor and her lips turned blue.

Life of Megan has been full of struggles as since her birth she had a number of problems which included asthma and a condition called dorsal stream dysfunction, which makes it difficult to see fast-moving objects, like footballs. However, she is among those brave children who struggle hard to survive. Her parents see her as a miracle.
