There was a lot of criticism that the Dunedin hospital has faced and there is still a response to come from their side.
It shall be revealed by the Southern District Health board about how they are going to react in this regard. It was in a report by the National Health Board that this criticism was voiced by them a couple of weeks ago.
The report was of the view that the leadership as well as the management of the hospital are insufficient and that there are a number of other issues such as poor service to the patients and lack of decision making by the authorities. It was also revealed that there was no proper arrangement for security in the hospital.
The report also contained that the patients have to face lots of delays in their procedures ad there were poor arrangements for the priorities of the patients.
All these allegations have called for an explanation by the hospital authorities where they shall have to give detailed answer on why their facilities were lacking and why they have been inefficient to live up to the expectations of the authorities. There are speculations on the rise on as to what the authorities of the hospital would say about the same.
