Just ahead of the National Yoga Month, voices are being heard to make people aware about the benefits associated with yoga.
It’s being reported that educating people about the proven health benefits of yoga is highly imperative for allowing people to get the best benefits. Produced and administered by the nonprofit organization Yoga Health Foundation, the awareness drive has already captured the interest of not just the volunteers but general public as well.
It’s being claimed that yoga has the ability to reduce the physical effects of stress on the body by lowering the levels of the stress hormone Cortisol. Besides, it has made people learn about the importance of normal breathing, which in day to day life, a large number of people have forgotten to take care of.
Further, many studies have indicated that practicing yoga can relieve pain, as it helps in improving body agility which helps in getting relief from daily aches and pains in back, neck and joints.
It’s being usually believed that yoga at times gets boring but the fact is that it has many variations. Besides all the physical benefits, yoga helps people focus on the present. Above all, yoga allows overall development of body, mind and soul.
