Panasonic introduces two new super-zoom Lumix camerasPanasonic has introduced two new fixed lens cameras, and a firmware update to previous year’s Lumix LX5, plus two new lenses for its G series of interchangeable cameras.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 is a 12-megapixel, 24X optical zoom camera promises full manual, shuttle-priority and aperture-priority controls, in addition to features like 3D still-image capture, creative filters for both images as well as video, and enhanced auto focus & tracking focus functions. It support AVCHD Progressive video recording, shooting 1080p high-definition video at a smooth sixty frames a second.

It has an adjustable, flip & swivel 3-inch LCD, lens-mounted secondary controls for its optical zoom and focus settings plus a hot shoe for external microphones and flashes.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 camera has been priced at $500.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-Fx90 is a 12-megapixel touchscreen WiFi camera, which is just 0.85 inches deep. It in-camera WiFi ability allows users to upload images and video to social networks like Facebook, Flickr, Picasa and YouTube.

It can also back up photos and videos wirelessly to smartphones and computers. In addition, it has the ability to upload images and videos directly to certain sites through any WiFi access point.

Key specs of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-Fx90 include an optically stabilized, 5X optical zoom lens with a maximum aperture of F2.5. Its 3-inch touchscreen allow users to control the camera’s menu navigation. It can shoot 1080i video at a sixty frames per second.

Pricing for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-Fx90 hasn’t been disclosed so far.
