The opening week of the UK All Format Gaming Chart witnessed ‘Deus Ex: Human Revolution’ topping the chart, overthrowing the 10-time chart topper ‘Zumba Fitness.’
The topping of the chart by Deus Ex: Human Revolution marks the commencement of an autumn and winter phase which will witness the release of some highly-anticipated titles – including Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3 and Gears of War 3, as well as FIFA 12 and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
However, even after it lost the top spot to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Zumba Fitness still retained a respectable second spot; with the third place bagged by the new 'Rugby World Cup 2011' – a fittingly-titled game whose third rank on the chart indicates that interest in the Rugby World Cup is gathering momentum.
At the fourth place on the UK All Format Gaming Chart was Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, which has been dethroned from the third place by the new Rugby title. And, in an amazing jump of sorts, Call of Duty: Black Ops moved up
13 places to reach the fifth spot on the chart.
Meanwhile, rounding up the remaining of the top ten positions, Cars 2 dropped to the sixth place; while FIFA 11 fell down to the seventh spot. With Dirt 3 retaining its eighth position on the chart, Lego Harry Potter was placed ninth; and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood jumped up nine places to reach the tenth spot!
