The federal government will be facing a legal suit by tobacco giants over newly imposed regulations imposed.
The government has ordered tobacco companies to place graphic warning labels on cigarette packets which have been violating their amendment rights.
The tobacco manufactures have stated that the newly imposed laws have been reprehensively pressurizing the companies to put warning graphic warning labels on their products.
According to the tobacco companies, the government has been victimizing the companies by making their products as a commercial for their own anti-smoking campaigns. These imposed rules have breached the freedom to speech rights of the tobacco owners.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius that these warning signs will be a great help and would help the smokers to quit their habit as they will know exact dangers of smoking a cigarette.
Sebelius added, "These labels are frank, honest and powerful depictions of the health risks of smoking and they will help encourage smokers to quit, and prevent children from smoking".
The FDA has come up with nine labels which will take up half of the packets place to reveal the message and idea behind this move.
