Sony Ericsson’s Nozomi smartphone may come in March 2012

Sony Ericsson’s Nozomi smartphone may come in March 2012Emerging reports suggest that Sony Ericsson's much-rumored high-spec Nozomi smartphone will hit store shelves by the end of next year’s first quarter.

The Xperia Blog is reporting that the release of the Nozomi is scheduled for March 2012. Sony Ericsson has revealed neither any release date nor any specs for the device, but different reports suggest that the Nozomi will come equipped with a 4.3-inch screen and a dual-core 1.5GHz processor.

The screen will have a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, giving the device a PPI of 342 that far exceeds that of the iPhone 4.

The list of other rumored specs includes 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, NFC chip and a huge 1750mAh battery.

Strangely, the device is said to come with no microSD slot, and a microSIM to most probably slim down the innards.

Sony Ericsson loves to unveil new handsets at CES or MWC events, with releases in March or April.
