HTC Corporation, one of the world’s leading handset makers, recently hosted a series of consumer gathering to provide a glimpse of its two upcoming Windows Phone Mango-based smartphones.
One of the two Mango-based smartphones is the HTC Titan, which promises to bring favorite content and multimedia experiences closer than ever before with its large 4.7-inch super LCD WGVA touchscreen that offers a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels. Its also boasts of its 8-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, a 1.5GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
The Titan comes wrapped in ultra-thin 9.9mm aluminum case.
The second of the two, the HTC Radar, features a 3.8-inch, 480 by 800 pixels resolution, super LCD touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera, a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.
Speaking about the new phones, HTC Corporation’s Global Sales & Marketing President Jason Mackenzie said, “The new HTC TITAN and HTC Radar smartphones raise the bar with new advanced photography, multimedia and social capabilities that enable you to take full advantage of the latest Windows Phone innovations.”
Both Mango-based smartphones will become available from October this year worldwide, starting in Europe and Asia.
Microsoft’s Windos Phone, which currently accounts for merely less than 4 per cent of the smartphone OS market, is estimated to account for approximately 19.5 per cent by 2015.
