Jason Paris, former Chief Executive of Media Works Television, has succeeded to make his position in the Telecom's senior management team where he will be serving in the capacity of Chief Marketing Officer. Earlier in June, Jason Paris had resigned from Media Works and will start his inning at Telecom from September 19.
On the other hand, Kieran Cooney, who is currently serving as a Chief Marketing Officer of Telecom, has faced immense criticism for his marketing campaign "Abstain for the Game".
While briefing about the deviations in the management, the Chief Executive of Telecom Alan Gourdie applauded the choice and expressed confidence that Jason Paris's experience will contribute enough to improve the output of organization. Further, Gourdie said that Paris had immense knowledge in the areas of strategy, technology, sales as well as marketing gained through his work experience with brands such as Nokia, McDonald's, TVNZ, FOUR and TV3, and said: "I'm very pleased that Jason is joining Telecom at what will be a very exciting time in Telecom's history".
Meanwhile, the recently appointed officer has also expressed enthusiasm towards his new job and said that Telecom is a reputed company of New Zealand and affect lives of millions of natives in the country.
